A Brief Introduction to Gantry Crane Orders in Uzbekistan
Sell products: 30-ton L electric trolley gantry crane
Customer information: Our client is a construction company in Uzbekistan that specializes in building bridges and highways. They require frequent lifting of large prefabricated components (e.g. prefabricated girders, bridge deck slabs, reinforcing cages, formwork, etc.), as well as loading and unloading of heavy equipment at the construction site. They contacted us through our website and expressed their interest in our gantry cranes.
Customer Lifting Needs
The customer needed a solution that could safely lift large loads, move across different working zones, and keep the workflow smooth. The crane had to be strong, flexible, and easy to operate in a changing environment.

1. Lifting Precast Concrete Beams
Prefabricated T-beams and box girders are the main components of bridge construction, and according to the client, the highest lifting capacity for their project is usually between 20 and 30 tons. A gantry crane with a rated lifting capacity of 30 tons has enough lifting capacity and safety margins that customers can easily lift these beams without overloading the equipment. Since these beams are long and very sensitive to unbalance, stable lifting is critical. The right crane lifting capacity increases safety and reduces the risk of damage during handling.
2. Crossing Construction Areas
The crane needs to move across different parts of the construction site, including standard traffic lanes and sections of the bridge structure. This allows you to transfer components from the precast yard directly to the installation area without extra handling steps. The ability to cross material storage zones and formwork areas also helps you use your space more efficiently. Smooth travel and good ground adaptability are key here, especially when the site conditions are not perfectly even.
3. Aerial Relocation of Reinforcing Steel Cages and Formwork
Before concrete pouring can commence at the precast yard, reinforcing steel cages and heavy formwork must be promptly hoisted and positioned. These goods are frequently large and difficult to handle manually, so dependable lifting equipment is required. A gantry crane helps you to accurately lift them from the assembly area to the casting site. This saves you time and ensures that the production process runs well. Accurate alignment also increases the quality of the finished concrete pieces, which is important for structural performance.

Challenges in the Customer's Lifting Environment
Bridge construction sites are complex and demanding. The customer's construction sites change constantly, but they all require reliable operation under heavy-duty conditions.
1. Uneven Site Foundation and Frequent Movement
Bridge construction sites are rarely flat or stable. Customers may need to work on muddy surfaces, gravel roads, or loose soil that is susceptible to pressure movement. This makes it more difficult to install and maintain crane tracks to maintain proper alignment. Gantry cranes rely on stable tracks, so uneven site foundations can lead to track misalignment, increased wheel wear, and unsafe operation. To ensure smooth crane operation, customers need to make proper site preparation, reinforce the rail foundation and conduct regular inspections.
2. Rigidity Requirements for Large Spans
Considering the large span of the customer, more consideration needs to be given to the stiffness of the beam. The longer the span, the higher the risk of deflection under load. If the main beam bends excessively when lifting heavy loads, it will affect the operation of the trolley and reduce lifting stability. This can lead to problems such as uneven running, increased friction, and accelerated track and wheel wear. A well-designed main beam with sufficient stiffness helps keep the trolley running smoothly and keeps the load balanced. This not only improves efficiency, but also extends the service life of crane components.
3. Frequent Disassembly and Relocation
Bridge construction projects often require relocation from one section to another. The simplified design of the L-type gantry crane facilitates disassembly and transportation compared to more complex structures. The connection points utilize high strength bolts and locating pins to help maintain accuracy during reassembly. This ensures that the crane will operate reliably even after many relocations.
Solution Confirmation and Technical Parameters
Upon receipt of the customer's enquiry, we assigned a professional sales manager to communicate with them to understand their project in detail, such as site conditions, lifting requirements and budget. Based on their needs, we recommended a 30-ton L-type electric trolley gantry crane, which was perfect for their project size and environment. The customer also specially commissioned a trade agent to conduct a field inspection at our factory, focusing on the video of test runs and welds of similar gantry cranes.
